Core Hospitality Group is looking for bright talent to model Hilton's vision: "To fill the earth with the light and warmth of hospitality."

Responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests of the bar.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bartenders get to keep all earned tips.

Responsibilities

  • Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks for bars and restaurants.
  • Serves wine, draft or bottled beer, and food to bar guests according to hotel standards.
  • Collect payments for drinks served following hotel established accounting procedures.
  • Be lightly cross-trained to assist where needed during bar shifts.
  • Respond to guests' needs.
  • Guide guests in selecting food and beverage items.
  • Merchandises cocktail hours and special events.
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing the intoxication of guests.
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures for handling an intoxicated guest.
  • Prepares drinks and verifies correct pricing.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, restocks, and stores bar items according to procedures.
  • Secure all money at the end of each shift.
  • Keep the immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  • Serves bar menu food according to hotel standards.
  • Responsible for the proper storage of alcohol.
  • Responsible for cleaning bar service and guest areas.
  • Report maintenance issues to the immediate supervisor.
  • Requisitions alcohol and bar food according to hotel standards.
  • Displays a professional image at all times through appearance.
  • Follows company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Will be required to work weekends and holidays.
  • Will be required to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Will be required to work with common household cleaning products.
  • Communication skills are necessary some of the time in order to interact with hotel guests or staff.
  • The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
