Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced ETL Developer with strong expertise in IBM DataStage to design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building robust ETL pipelines, working with modern streaming technologies like Kafka, and experience with distributed databases such as CockroachDB along with strong Oracle database knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
  • Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including Oracle databases.
  • Work with Kafka for real-time data ingestion and streaming pipelines.
  • Develop and manage data solutions using CockroachDB or similar distributed databases.
  • Perform data validation, transformation, and ensure data quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in ETL jobs.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Required Skills:
  • 10–12 years of experience as an ETL Developer / Data Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage .
  • Experience with Apache Kafka (minimum 1 year).
  • Experience with CockroachDB (minimum 1 year).
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Database (minimum 6 years).
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ETL jobs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
